I’m a little over 23 weeks pregnant now and I’ve honestly been LOVING dressing up the bump. I’m not going to lie, you have to be a little bit more creative at times since your regular jeans are out of the picture (yup, mine don’t button anymore) and I can’t do my usual t-shirt, jeans, and front tuck look that was my go-to before baby. What’s my secret to creating cute outfits while pregnant?
A good staple fitting dress.
I’ve been living in fitted bodycon dresses recently because they are comfortable and very easy to style in different ways when your jeans aren’t fitting anymore. Throw a plaid flannel over it for a casual look, put a moto jacket over it for a cool trendy look, style it with a cute cropped sweatshirt, the list goes on.
When I received this long sleeve crew dress from Matron Saint, I knew I was going to be wearing it on repeat. A classic grey shade (comes in other colors as well), the perfect length (not too short) and easy to style with anything. Did I mention how comfortable Matron Saint clothing is?! I’m new to the brand and absolutely LOVE the feel of all their pieces. (I’ve also been living in this classic long sleeve tee as well). If you are preggo, I highly recommend checking them out as they have tons of classic staples for pregnancy. Also, they are having a huge sale this month so almost everything is marked down!
Did you grab these cute shoes yet?! They are constantly restocking, going out of stock and restocking again so if your size isn’t available yet, don’t get discouraged….keep watching! (My sister has watched for weeks now, her size finally came back in stock, she ordered them online and they shipped yesterday!)
As most of you probably know, October is breast cancer awareness month. Every year, Stella & Dot picks a couple of pieces for a breast cancer awareness boutique to support the cause. This year, they designed this gorgeous rose gold bracelet (only $24!) where 100% off all proceeds go to support breast cancer awareness research. Such a pretty piece and such a good cause!
Pregnant and not feeling stylish enough?! Don’t get down on yourself! Buy a staple dress, dress it up with some fun accessories, a cute pair of shoes, a fun blazer or duster and ROCK that bump!
p.s. The black and white duster in this post is currently marked down to $29. Jump on it! Such a great deal!
