Over the past few months, we’ve slowly been turning our second bedroom into an office & wardrobe room. I needed a separate space to hang upcoming outfits for shoots, plan travel looks & organize upcoming brand collaborations.
Being able to have a separate room in the house with dedicated space to create has always been a dream of mine. I was over the moon when I shot out the idea to my husband a while back and he immediately said yes. What girl wouldn’t want their own room to basically play dress up in?!
I always love new projects where decorating is involved, especially when it includes something I love so much, such as clothes, shoes and bags.
If you know me, you know I love decorating with all things white & gold. When decorating with white, the room instantly appears cleaner to me. It creates a fresh, clean & crisp look and for someone who takes A LOT of photos for their blog/business, it creates the prettiest backdrops.
When brainstorming ideas for the wardrobe section of the room (as seen above), I knew I wanted to start with some type of clothing rack to hang dedicated clothing items on. I found this one on Amazon (of course it’s white!) and I’m super happy with the way it turned out. Now remember…it’s under $40 and from IKEA, so you have to put it all together by yourself. But let me tell you, if I can do it, you can do it. I also walked by this bench multiple times at Target and finally pulled the trigger knowing that it would look perfect in this room.
Another piece I’ve been waiting to hang up is this cute je’taime sign that Bryan & I found in a small boutique store on our trip last year to Mendocino. Black & white, simple and chic.

This is only a small section of our new office and I can’t wait to create a more beautiful space & share it with all of you as it comes together little by little.
I’ve linked some other amazing items I’ve got to decorate our office with above and links to everything in the top picture are shown/linked below.
Decorating a space in your house? Make an inspiration board. It helps SO much!
Happy decorating!
