Monthly beauty reviews are BACK! I heard you guys loud and clear as these are some of your favorite blog posts each month. I decided to keep it simple each month and just review 5 products (you all know I try a TON of things all the time), but thought I would limit it to five so it’s not too overwhelming!
Here were my picks in January:
Kiehl’s Retinol Skin Renewing Daily Micro-Dose Serum – Ok, if you are looking to start a retinol product, this would be an awesome place to start. Some retinol products can be a little harsh on the skin at first but this one is not at all! It’s a nice serum that soaks right into the skin without leaving you oily.
OVERALL RATING: 8/10
Tula Take Care & Nourish Body Moisturizer – SO SO dang good! Like I couldn’t get enough of this in January especially with the winter weather drying out my skin. This stuff is awesome, super hydrating but not greasy, smells amazing but not too overpowering and comes in a huge tub. Bryan kept stealing mine all month, so I had to order him one of his own! Tula Take Care & Polish Body Exfoliator – Another winner! I used this new body polish in the shower & on my face and LOVED it. It smells incredible, exfoliates so well, feels absolutely amazing and actually suds up really well for a body polish! Highly recommend! (Code ASHDONIELLE gets you 15% off).

InnBeauty Project Slushy Serum Moisturizer – This was just ok for me. I probably won’t be repurchasing – not that it was bad, but I didn’t really notice anything with it! I did like that it was a 2 in one product though and the reviews are awesome so I’m not sure what I’m missing!

PMD Clean Body Cleansing Device – This is awesome! Is it necessary? Not really. It’s more of a luxury shower item BUT it does give you a great massage and exfoliates your skin really well! If you use a loofa everyday in the shower, you would definitely love this! What I did love was using this with the new Tula Body polish – a great combo! (Code ASHLEYD20 gets you 20% off the site).

On deck for next month I’m trying out a new Dime beauty product (eeek sunscreen!), a new eyeshadow palette from Sephora that I’m already loving, a few new lip products, a new Tarte eyebrow gel and more! Stay tuned for next month’s review!
