March Beauty Product Review

Another month of so many fun new beauty & skincare products! I’m loving that you all look forward to these posts because we all know that I always have SO many new things to try. I’m your guinea pig and you know I’ll always give you my honest review so I’m glad I can be a resource!

(Warning, there are a lot of ILIA products this month as it’s my new obsession…haha!)

Let’s dive into the products I tried this past month in March:

1.) Tula Clay Mask

Ok, this mask is so cool! It’s basically a clay mask on a stick so you don’t have to get it all over your hands during the application process. I also love that it has witch hazel in it so that it shrinks pores.

Overall review: Absolutely love and highly recommend if you are looking for a detox, clay mask. I felt like it really left my skin feeling super clean, cool and smooth. Code “ASHDONIELLE” will get you 15% off too.

2.) Tarte Cream Blush

I’m sure you all know that I love the new cream blushes from Tarte because I’ve been using them ALL month long! My favorite color of the shades is “pink sky” as it’s the perfect pop of pink. This is a very good blush option if you are looking for a dewy finish look too. As far as brushes go, you can really use any brush or beauty blender to apply, just find what blends it in the best for you!

Overall review: LOVE! Will definitely use until I repurchase – code “ASHDONIELLE15” will get you 15% off the Tarte site always!

3.) Tarte Creamy Shape Tape Concealer

AHHH! I feel like I talked about this stuff all month long because I’ve been waiting for this to launch for so dang long! I used to love the coverage of the original Shape Tape but it became too drying under my eyes after a while. I felt like it started to settle into fine lines and wasn’t really complimenting my under eye area. This new shape tape is called “Ultra Creamy” for a reason….made for more mature, dry under eyes and absolutely doesn’t dissapoint. SO SO GOOD. I use shade “20B light” and love having the coverage of the original shape tape without the drying issue.

Overall review: Absolutely love and just what I wished it would be! My #1 concealer of choice again. Code “ASHDONIELLE15” will get you 15% off the Tarte site always!

4.) Bite Upswing Mascara

This mascara was nothing special to me. I used it about 5 times and each time I felt like my lashes would just look better with my holy grail It Cosmetic mascara! Also, the brush is very wide and thick so it was hard to maneuver around the lashes without getting clumpy or all over your eyelid.

Overall review: Won’t be using again and obviously won’t be repurchasing.

5.) Tarte Face Tanner

Love love love! Like might have replaced my oh so favorite tanning drops as my go to face self tanner! This is basically a lightweight moisturizer that smells like coconuts and gradually tans your face while you sleep. It’s not just a self tanner, it’s skincare for your face. It doesn’t break you out, doesn’t leave you oily and doesn’t leave you a weird color when you wake up. Like some tanning drops, you can easily over apply and turn orange, but with this lotion, you can’t do that. It gives your face the best gradual tan without the streaks and I can’t get enough.

Overall review: I’ve used it about 7 times already and each time have been so impressed! Absolutely love and will repurchase. It’s now available on the Tarte site but QVC has the best deal on a set of two as of right now if you want to try it!

6.) ILIA Balmy Gloss Tinted Oil

Another one of my favorite finds this month! SO SO GOOD, hydrating and gorgeous on the lips. My only complaint is that I wish they lasted longer on but honestly applying them feels so good that I don’t mind. They are not sticky and leave your lips with the prettiest glow. My top shade picks are “Only You” and “Petals” – both great everyday pinks/neutral shades.

Overall review: DUH. Favorites already. I’ve already repurchased so that I have two of each color always available.

7.) ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint  with SPF 40 Foundation

Ok, since I loved the lip products so much I had to go back and grab the Super serum foundation that everyone RAVES about! I have to say, it’s definitely different and an amazing product if you are looking for light coverage. I can see myself wearing this a LOT in the summer as it has SPF 40 and gives you light coverage with a really dewy look. You apply it like a serum with your fingers (make sure you shake the bottle first) and the color sets in after about 30 seconds. It’s a really cool product!

Overall review: Will use more in the summer time for light makeup days but for more coverage, I’ll stick with my Charlotte Tilbury foundation. I use shade “5 BOM BOM”.

8.) Iconic Illuminator Liquid Highlight in shade “Original”

This liquid highlighter came highly recommended by a few of you and I get it! It’s absolutely gorgeous on the skin. Only little tip – a little goes a LONGGGG way. Like use half of what you think you need. The whole bottle might last me for 10 years because the littlest drop gets you the best glow everywhere you need it! Haha!

Overall review:  A gorgeous liquid highlight option – if you aren’t into shine and glow on your cheeks or nose, this product isn’t for you. If you like a good glowy look, you’ll love this!

9.) ILIA Lip Mask

Obsessed is an understatement. I LOVE this lip mask so much and actually feel like it makes a huge difference when I use it at night. It’s not sticky and has NO smell which I love. It’s pack in my hospital bag and will most definitely be used while I’m delivering baby boy.

Overall review: a new favorite and will definitely be repurchasing.
