What I’ve Been Trying From The Sephora Sale

One | Two | Three | Four | Five | Six | Seven |

Eight | Nine | Ten | Eleven | Twelve

Alright! If you are a Sephora VIB member at ANY level, today is your day to shop the sale! EVERYTHING  is on sale based on whatever level member you are, so it’s time to stock up on favorites, buy some new products and splurge on some new hair tools or perfumes.

I got to shop the sale last week, so I decided to stock up on some oldies but goodies and also purchase some new items to try for the week and review for you guys.

1.) Living Proof Body Builder
I’ve been using this new hairspray/texture spray since Monday and I’m liking it, but I think I need a little bit more time to use if before I give you a 100% honest answer. It really does hold my curls for most of the day, but it has a different/weird smell to it. It’s not a bad smell, but I’m not sure if I love it yet. One of the best things about this hairspray is that you can adjust the nozzle to how much body you want. GENIUS!

2.) Bite Amuse Lipstick
Ever since I went to the Bite Beauty lab in SF last week, I’ve been obsessed with the smooth, creamy, hydrating and good ingredient lipstick from Bite. SO many of you wanted to purchase the color I made called “Ella Bella” but it was a little complicated to make SO I’m pretty sure I found an almost identical color (I might like it more actually) called “FIG”. It’s the perfect pink and I’ll be showing you more of the color in my Instagram story, so check it out there!

3.) Smashbox Eye Palette
I love Smashbox eyeshadows and this little palette doesn’t disappoint! It’s a great price and there are so many different shades.

4.) Volumizing Hair Spray
I’ve been using this all week (I bought the travel size to try) and I like it, but it’s nothing special.

5.) Urban Decay Lash Primer
Ok Ok. This is not a new product, as this is my absolute favorite primer, but I needed a new one and I’m still in love. I put this primer on before my mascara and it really helps make my lashes look longer and thicker. (Also, if you have a mascara that runs on top of your eyelid or under your eye, you need to be using a primer to keep if from running).

6.) NARS Blush/Bronzer Palette
I got this little palette for traveling and I’m loving it! This blush is SO pretty!

7.) Hoola Bronzer
This is my absolute favorite bronzer (I’ve used it for years), so I grabbed it in the mini so that I could throw it in my purse for travel. I’ve been using it and loving the mini size.

8.) Monsieur Big Mascara
I had heard so many great things about this mascara, so I thought I would give it a try. Honestly, it didn’t do anything special for me but I’m going to try it for another week to give it a fair shot. It also left black residue under my eye and didn’t give me very full lashes. My favorite mascara is still this one as it makes my lashes look insanely long.

9.) Always On Matte Lipstick
Of course I had to grab a couple more of my favorite lipsticks! This lipstick stays on for HOURS and I’m not joking. I grabbed it in the shades “Babe Alert” and “Big Spender”. Grab one of these while they are on sale!

10.) Drunk Elephant Lippe Balm
I’ve been loving Drunk Elephant products so I thought I would give this lip balm a try. I’ve been using this before bed and loving it! It doesn’t have too much of a scent and really leaves my lips hydrated.

11.) Benefit Hello Happy Blur Foundation
I really wanted to love this, but I’m going to be returning it. It’s not a terrible foundation, but it is a really light coverage. I needed a little bit more color and coverage on my face even after a full application. I got the shade 4 and it was a pretty good match. Also, the packaging is adorable!

12.) IGK Charcoal Dry Shampoo

So I’ve actually been using this dry shampoo for the past month in the travel size and it is the BOMB.COM. It gives you so much volume, takes out the grease in your hair and leaves you with a fresh new look! If you are looking for a new dry shampoo, give this one a try.

It also smells great and doesn’t leave too much residue in your hair.
