If you’ve followed me for some time, you know I LOVE skincare and beauty products.
I truly do enjoy trying new face masks, oils, & creams and you better believe I look forward to washing my face every night. I know, call me weird, but nothing feels better than wiping my makeup off at the end of the night and applying some amazing skincare products before bed. Taking the time to do that is better for your skin in the long run and it’s relaxing. It’s a win win!
My routine is always changing and since I’ve had Eloise, my skin has been a little bit more on the drier side (hello breastfeeding)! I’ve been using a handful of products (pictured here) for the past 3 weeks and I can finally feel my skin balancing out and becoming more hydrated. I thought I would share my most current skincare routine with all of you on here today because some of these products are just TOO good not to share!
Every Night Products

Step 1: Before I start applying any of my before bed skincare products, I wash my face. I’m not going to lie, I’ve tried SO many face washes, cleansing balms, and scrubs and my number one concern is “do they lather?” If the face wash doesn’t sud up, creating a lather, I don’t feel like it’s truly washing my face. This is the main reason that I normally don’t like cleansing balms. Well, for the past month or so, I’ve been using this cleansing balm and you guys…I’m obsessed. First off, it smells like a spa. Second, it feels like a spa on your face. Third, it doesn’t necessarily suds up like crazy, but it lathers really well and leaves your skin feeling A-mazing. YESSSSS.
A little goes a long way and this tub will last you all year long. It’s finally back in stock and has over 500 – five star reviews. Need I say more?!

Step 2: I love Step 2. Why?! Because it’s probably the most refreshing. I’ve used this facial spray for years and I love it but I recently was sent this facial mist and I might just love it a wee bit more. The spray on the L’Occitane mist is more fine and just feels more refreshing than the other ones I’ve used.
After washing my face, I spray this illuminating mist all over my face and fan my face with my hand. If you don’t do this before bed, try it.
I promise you’ll love it.
(It’s also one of my favorite things to do to your skin after you get off an airplane!)
Step 3: Face lotion time! When I was pregnant with Eloise, I used this amazing moisturizer and loved loved loved it! After I finished that one, I moved on to this one and I have to say they are a close match. Depending on what you are looking for, both of these moisturizers are lightweight but still really leave your face hydrated. The Beautycounter one doesn’t really have a smell and the Tula one has a slight floral smell that’s amazing.
(If you haven’t tried any of the Tula products, I highly recommend them! You can get 20% off your online order with code “ASHDONIELLE”)
Step 4: Ok, let me start out by saying, I use to be SO against face oils. Why would I want to put an oil on my skin when part of my face already struggled with being oily. Well, I was wrong in not trying it sooner. By applying a facial oil either with my moisturizer or after, my skin actually balanced out and started looking better than ever. This actually might be one of the most important steps in my skincare routine. I’ve used this oil concentrate for years and SWEAR by it. I’m not joking….if I go a couple of days without using this, my face feels it and looks it. This face oil leaves your skin hydrated, balanced and glowing. After I’m done breastfeeding, I’m also going to try out this face oil with retinol in it because I’ve heard amazing things! (You aren’t suppose to use products with retinol in them while your pregnant or breastfeeding).
Sometimes I’ll also combine steps 3 & 4 and mix the moisturizer with the oil…depends on how sleepy I am and how fast I’m trying to get into bed!
Step 5: Eye cream…..key in helping your eyes stay hydrated which in turn keeps you looking less tired. I’ve used this eye cream for YEARS, have tried others in the mix and continue to keep coming back to this creamy goodness. It’s thick, a little goes a long way and you can feel it hydrating your eyes. I swear by it!
Step 6: Lips….I can’t go to bed without applying this lip balm. I was given this Kopari lip gloss at the RewardStyle conference I attended in Dallas and have been in love ever since. It doesn’t have an overwhelming coconut flavor or smell (which I’m picky about), it’s made with coconut oil and leaves your lips SO hydrated. It’s not sticky either….this is a MUST!

Once A Week Products
Once a week, I use a couple of different products to give my skin a refresh and boost for the week. Typically I love doing these three things on Sundays so that my skin starts the week feeling great.
I showed these treatment pads on my Instagram stories and you guys all went crazy for them just like I have! My love for this product runs strong as I really feel like they make the biggest difference in making my face feel and look brighter. One side of the pad has a serum on it and the other side of the pad has an exfoliate scrub on it. You can literally see the product working & dead skin coming off of your face. Every time I use these, my face feels baby soft….These are AMAZING.
(You can also use my code “ASHDONIELLE” to get 20% off these treatment pads if you are curious to try!)
Next up, my favorite face mask! I’ve used this baby skin face mask for over a year now and when I forget to use it, I crave it on my face. It smells amazing, cools your face once you put it on and leaves your skin baby soft and smooth after use. I even invested in the the travel size so that I could use it while traveling.
I can’t get enough!
Keeping my eyes hydrated and looking rested is a big part of my skincare routine, especially when you have a three month old baby! I’ve tried all different types of eye masks, gels and creams and I can honestly say that these products I’m currently using work! I’ve recently started using these eye masks by VII code and I’m loving them! Not only can I see that my eyes are hydrated after using these, you can FEEL them working. These eye masks are an overnight treatment (you are suppose to wear them overnight for 8 hours) and they are the first eye masks I’ve used that don’t fall off and actually stay in place while you’re sleeping. If you aren’t one to sleep with masks on, you can still use these during the day for 2-4 hours. I’ve used them both ways and I feel like they work and feel amazing either way. You can also put them in the refrigerator to get them cool before using….talk about a spa treatment!
At this point in my life, this skincare routine is working wonders for me! I’m sure it will change in the next couple of months, but for now, I’m loving all of these amazing products!
