Favorite Beauty Products Lately

I haven’t done a beauty post in a while so I thought it was about time for a beauty products routine update! You guys are always asking for more beauty posts, so here you go! (And yes, I know you keep asking for a hair tutorial….I’m working on it….promise!)

Per usual, I tend to stick to some old favorites for my everyday morning routine but I’ve found some new amazing finds in the past couple of months that I’ve been really loving.

If you’ve followed me for a while now, you know that I try A LOT of products. Probably way more than your average girl, but hey, I love it. I’ll use one blush one day and then try a totally different one the next. I’ll switch up the eyeshadow palettes I use weekly, going with light neutral shades and then switching to more brown tones. I get excited when I’m getting low on mascara because that means it’s time to try a new one. I know, I know. You call it crazy, I call it fun!

1.) Laura Mercier Mineral Powder – I can’t explain to you enough how much I love this mineral powder. It provides the perfect amount of coverage, stays on all day and perfectly matches my skin leaving no weird powder lines. I’ve made the mistake before of trying other powders after this one ran out and I quickly returned those other ones realizing they didn’t come close to the Laura Mercier powder. I wear the shade “Natural Beige” and if you are looking for a great powder that gives you coverage but doesn’t leave you with the caked on makeup look, this ones for you.

2.) The POREfessional Face Primer by Benefit This is another product I can’t live without. If I forget to use it on my face, it’s totally noticeable. You only need a small amount and I use this around my nose, on my forehead and on my chin before I apply my powder. It leaves the skin smooth, covers pores and creates a great smooth skin look when combined with the mineral powder.

3.) Gimme Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel – A quick and easy color boost for your eyebrows. Once you start using this, you won’t be able to leave the house without it. It gives your eyebrows definition and much more volume! (I use shade “05 Deep“).

4.) Stroke Of Light by Bareminerals – One sweep of this highlighter under each eye, covers up dark circles and instantly leaves you looking more awake and fresh. (I use shade “Luminous 2“).

5.) Bobbi Brown Cream Eyeshadow Stick – My newest obsession! Perfect for traveling or on the go in your purse, these eyeshadow sticks are long wearing and come in the most beautiful colors. I just apply the shadow straight to my eyelid and then use my finger to blend. So easy! I love the colors “Truffle” & “Malted Pink” and can’t wait to try “Nude Beach” or “Vanilla”. I also love using the Truffle color a little bit under the eyebrow as a highlighter.

6.) The Shock Mascara by YSL – I was originally sent this mascara to test and try out but ended up being surprised at how much I really loved it. I’m on my second tube & will probably continue to always have this brand of mascara in my beauty bag. It’s volumizing, lengthens your lashes and smells like perfume. Worth the splurge!

7.) Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner – Hands down the best eyeliner I’ve ever tried! Doesn’t smudge but comes off easily when you wash your face at night. Comes in multiple different colors and goes on the eyelid so smoothly. My favorite color at the moment is “Black Amethyst”.

8.) NARS Creamy Concealer – I use this on those areas of my face that need a little bit more coverage (aka a pesky little zit). It’s creamy, goes on smooth, doesn’t cake and really hides those tough spots. (I wear the shade “Light 3 Honey“).

9.) FratBoy Blush by the Balm One of my new favorite blushes for spring and summer. I love the light pink/coral shade and I love how it lasts a long time on the cheeks.

10.) Click & Glow Highlighter by Lancome I was also sent this product by Lancome and have ended up really loving it. It’s another beauty item that’s perfect for traveling and I love that you don’t need any tools to apply it. I just click the product onto the brush, apply on my cheeks and blend it in with my fingers. So easy and leaves your cheekbones with the perfect shimmer. (I have the shade “01 Lumieres D’Or“),

11.) Maybelline’s Instant Age Rewind – Another product I can’t live without. Sometimes if I’m super short on time, I just throw this on under my eyes, put on some mascara and blush, and I’m out the door. Great at covering up dark circles and puffiness & it’s under $7! (I use shade “Honey Miel“).

12.) Maybelline’s Eye Studio Color Tattoo One of my favorite drug store finds yet. I use this along with the Bobbi Brown eyeshadow stick to create the perfect neutral look for my eyelid. Once again, no tools needed as applying & blending with your finger is so easy. I love the color “Creamy Beige” and “Barely Branded“.

Loving a certain beauty product that you think is a game changer in your daily beauty routine? I’d love to hear!

Thanks for stopping by!
