Arizona Outfit Roundup

Last month, I was lucky enough to attend Stella & Dot’s Directors Summit/Retreat in Arizona. Three whole days of learning all about the spring collection, how to style it, brainstorming ideas with some super cool fashionista girls all while getting spoiled rotten with drinks, food, and swag?!? YES PLEASE!
I got a TON of feedback from all of you about the outfits I wore while I was there and I promised you I would do a blog post with all the links, so here you go!
One of the questions I get asked frequently is “How do you know what to pack?” Let me tell you my secret…..planning, organizing and writing it all down. I take a notepad and write out day one, day two, etc and the events I’ll need outfits for. I’ll then spend about 2 hours planning all my outfits, mixing & matching looks, and linking all the items for you to shop, all while making my room a complete disaster! I’ve found that when I do this, I actually pack less and during the trip itself, I’m less overwhelmed with what to wear because it’s already planned out. I always bring an extra “back up” outfit just in case something that I’ve planned for isn’t fitting right or looking how I want it to.

I want comfy while flying. I ALWAYS travel in these leggings and with multiple layers on top. Does anyone else go through major temperature changes on a flight? Under this plaid jacket and black sweater, I’m wearing a simple grey t-shirt JUST IN CASE it gets super warm on the plane.

I wanted cute but comfy for the first day of the conference. I chose to wear my go-to comfy jeans & this adorable bell sleeved top. I also chose to wear  these fun boots with not much of a heel because I knew we were having lunch outside on the lawn.

We had a team dinner the first night at a fun little cantina. I went with burgundy denim, a fun statement sleeve blouse and an open toed Tory wedge. (which are SO COMFY by the way).

Another day of conferences and lunch outside. (And a little sangria sipping by the pool). Went with my other go-to comfy grey denim jeans & a simple white bell sleeve top. (This is when I realized I clearly loved all things bell sleeved for this trip).

This look was for a dinner/dance party that was catered outside on the last night. I wanted to be warm but dressed up a little so I went with a black moto jacket & a simple knotted tee. I dressed up the look with a big statement earring and a bold lip.

This was the final day look & I couldn’t wait to wear this pink pom pom sweater (sold out as of now but I’m keeping an eye out for you! Follow me on Instagram @ashdonielle to get the details on when it’s back in stock). I went with a spring color so that I could pair it with the new Ezra Statement necklace from the new spring collection.

Happy Friday!
