Spring Shoes by Target

Happy Monday!

If you watched my Instagram story the other day, you know that I had to psychically run away from the Target shoe aisle because I had AT LEAST 6 shoe boxes in my cart and another 5 pairs that I still needed to try on. I had a moment of “get yourself together” while in the shoe isle of Target on Friday, January 20th. I’m not ashamed to admit that.

So, as promised, here is my Target spring shoe round up because honestly, the shoe section at Target right now is OUT OF CONTROL. But in a good way. So many adorable, fashionable and trendy shoes to choose from as we transition into the spring season. Now, don’t get me wrong, I like expensive shoes. I do A LOT of shoe shopping at NordstromBloomingdale’s & Neiman Marcus but every now and then, I get some amazing shoes from Target and absolutely love them. They are comfortable, affordable, and ALWAYS on trend. (By the way, Target is not sponsoring this post. I really do just love them).

One of the big trends this spring is the perforated shoe, so when I found these fun mules & these adorable booties, I knew I had to have them. If you look at the Nordstrom website right now and search “perforated bootie” you will find so many identical shoes for double or triple the price. It’s actually crazy. AND did you know that the brand Dolce Vita that is sold at Nordstrom has an entire shoe line at Target for half the price!? It’s an no brainer.

My favorites? These lace up flatsthese fun sneakers (can’t wait to style them with distressed boyfriend jeans and a graphic tee), these blush AND grey slip ons and these perforated booties

Alright, that’s all I’ve got! Enjoy your Monday shoe shopping adventure! Just remember…you are TOTALLY saving money, so go ahead, buy an extra pair.

(p.s. Some of you were asking me what type of socks I wear with the perforated booties, if any. Sometimes I won’t wear sock and sometimes I’ll wear socks like these that just wrap around the base of the foot and toes so that you can barely see them).

Ashley, how does the DV Target line hold up compared to the real deal? Spending $35 instead of $120 sounds much better but some Target reviews for DV shoes reported the heel separating from the sole, etc. Thanks, Emily

Hi Emily! Honestly I've had many DV by Target shoes and have never had any problems with them! They are comfortable and very good quality! Hope that helps!
