Recent Lip Loves

Lipstick. Lip gloss. Lip Stain.
You know I love it all.
I've done a couple of blog posts about my favorite lip products in the past (here & here), but with every new season, new brands and shades make their way onto my favorites list.  Recently I've been sharing some new brands/style of lipsticks & glosses over on my Instagram & IG stories (@ashdonielle) and I've received a TON of questions. So I thought I would do a post today answering all of those questions in one spot.

Are they sticky? Stay on for a long time? Worth the price? Name of the shades?
I'm going to answer all of those questions in today's post!
Some of these products have quickly become my "go-tos" and all for different reasons.
So let's get into all the details!

1.) Charlotte Tilbury 'Hot Lips' Lipstick - Some of my absolute favorite lipsticks hands down. I enjoy the way they last & feel on the lips and just I love the bright bold colors. The shade in the photo above is "Kim K.W." which is the perfect everyday nude. Some of my other favorite Charlotte Tilbury shades are "Amazing Grace", "Sexy Sienna" and "Pillow Talk". Also, these are a pricier lipstick but they are worth every penny!
Moisturizing? Yes.
Length of stay on the lips? A while - about 3-4 hours before you have to reapply.
Sticky consistency? No.

2.) Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss - These have always been my go-tos. I keep one in my car, one on my dresser, one in my bathroom and I always have one in my purse. I just love the neutral gloss with a little bit of shimmer look and you honestly can't go wrong with any of the colors. These are the lip products I choose on the days when I don't want to wear a bare lip but I also don't want to wear much color.
Moisturizing? Yes.
Length of stay on the lips? About 2 hours.
Sticky consistency? Yes.

3.) Smashbox Always On Matte Liquid Lipsticks - Definitely a liquid lipstick that is bold in color. I love wearing these when I go out to happy hour with girlfriends or when I want to create a pop of color on my lips when I'm wearing a more neutral outfit. One of my favorite colors and the one in the picture above is "Dream Huge".
Moisturizing? No.
Length of stay on the lips? A while - about 3-4 hours.
Sticky consistency? No.

4.) Buxom Full-On Lip Polish - My new obsession! I love these glosses and the amazing cooling affect they have on your lips. My favorite colors at the moment are "Sandy" and "Mudslide". You get a lot of product for a great price of only $20.
Moisturizing? Yes.
Length of stay on the lips? About 2 hours.
Sticky consistency? A little.

5.) Chanel Rouge Gloss - These are new to me as I just got this set during the Nordstrom sale last month and I have to say, I understand why they are so expensive. They are amazing! Not only that, but the brush on these is perfect! Easy to apply without a mirror and all the colors in the set I got are the best neutral everyday shades. If you don't like sticky lip gloss, these are for you. (The Bobbi Brown neutral lip glosses are sticky, these are not).
Moisturizing? Yes.
Length of stay on the lips? About 1-2 hours.
Sticky? No.

6.) YSL Volupté Tint-In-Lip Balm - Now these are a splurge item. Not only is the packaging gorgeous, but the product is amazing. A lightly tinted lip balm that keeps the lips hydrated and beautiful. I love the shade "03 Call Me Rose".
Moisturizing? Extremely.
Length of stay on lips? About 2 hours.
Sticky? No.

7.) Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Liquid Lipstick - These are brand new so I've been testing them out all week. Just like all CT products,  I'm in love. These are a thicker consistency with a more matte look than the lipsticks. I don't know how, but these liquid lipsticks really make your lips look full! I love the shades " Charlotte Darling" and "Screen Siren".
Moisturizing? No.
Length of stay on the lips? A long time - about 5 hours.
Sticky? No.

Hoping this post helped answer some of your lipstick questions. There really is something for everyone in this post, whether you are a lip balm type of girl or a bright bold full lipstick kind of gal!

Thanks for reading!
